We remove tufted headboards from wall mounts or bed frames carefully, wrap them properly for transport, and reinstall them straight and tight at the new location.

  • How is a wall-mounted tufted headboard removed without damaging the wall?

    We identify the mounting type first (French cleat, hidden bracket, or direct screw), then use the appropriate removal technique. Most removals leave only small holes that need minor spackle.

  • Can you reinstall the headboard at the new home?

    Yes. We bring the original hardware and use our photos to reinstall it at the same height and angle.

  • My headboard is king-size and very heavy. Is that a problem?

    No. Large and oversize headboards are handled with a two or three-person lift technique designed to avoid wall and fabric contact.

  • The headboard has LED lighting built in. Can you handle the wiring?

    We can disconnect and reconnect simple plug-in LED strips. For hardwired installations, we'll need your electrician to handle that portion.

  • Will the velvet be marked or flattened after transport?

    We use breathable wraps and store headboards vertically - never flat under other items - to prevent compression marks.

  • How long does headboard removal and reinstallation take?

    Removal takes 30-60 minutes. Reinstallation at the new location takes another 30-45 minutes depending on wall type and mount style.
